4.48 mills for general purposes
.64 mills for fire service
LST (local services tax) remains at $52 annually for all persons working within the borough limits
Please contact the tax collector to inquire if you are eligible for exemption from this tax

Tuesday and Thursday – 10:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m.
Fees
Receipts: $1.00/bill
Bill Reprints: $5.00/bill
Tax Certifications: $10.00/parcel per year (up to 3 years)
Returned Checks: $25.00 for insufficient checks/closed accounts checks, etc
Due Dates
Discount deadlines: April 30th and August 31st
Face Deadlines: June 30th & October 31st
Last date to pay taxes: December 31st postmark
Special Instructions
Municipal bills and school bills MAY NOT be combined on one check.
Multiple parcels MAY be combined on one check by bill type only
No personal checks will be accepted AFTER December 15th
Payments after December 15th MUST be by money order, cashier’s check, or certified check
Personal income taxes are not collected by this office
Pay to the Order
Any real estate payments due to the Tax Officer should be made out to: E. Ann Shaibley, Tax Collector
Any LST payments due from employers for all quarters up to and including the third quarter of 2021 should be made payable to E. Ann Shaibley, Tax Collector.
All LST payments due for the 4th quarter of 2021 and thereafter shall be made payable to Dottie Mertz, Tax Collector.

BEGINNING JANUARY 2022, LOCAL SERVICES TAX (LST) that is collected from each employer in the Borough will be collected by Dottie Mertz, Tax Administrator. The 4th quarter of 2021, that is due January 31, 2022, and subsequent quarters will be remitted to Dottie. In December 2021, employers will be receiving information in the mail with further details. You may receive a personal visit from Dottie. We thank you, in advance, for your cooperation, for updating your records, and providing this information to your accountant and/or payroll company.
